From sweeping views to quiet, intimate scenes, I find inspiration in the way a landscape changes with the weather, the seasons and the light. I paint instinctively, using generous strokes, layers of paint and unexpected combinations of colour to convey my own interpretation of a scene. I also enjoy creating commissioned landscapes, turning favourite views and much-loved places into original paintings that hold a special meaning.
